Inman Students Named to KCDA Honor Choir

Congratulations to Inman's Hannah Martisko for being selected to perform in the 2018 KCDA Treble Honor Choir in February.

Congratulations also goes to Inman's Lexi Milne for being selected as an Alternate for the 2018 KCDA Treble Honor Choir.

Congratulations to Inman High School seniors Hayley Heaton and Nathan Enns for being selected to perform in SCKMEA District Honors Ensembles! Performances will be Saturday, December 2nd at Wichita East High School.

State Cross Country Results Class 2A

Congratulations to Inman Cross Country members who competed in the 2017 State Cross Country Class 2A Championship in Wamego Saturday.

  • Nicholas Martisko finished 5th (medaled) with a time of 17:23.0. Nicholas ran a personal best time on a very difficult, hilly course.
  • Nathan Bashore finished in 19:16.5 (54th out of 105 runners).
  • Aisjha Miles finished in 24:15.3 (64th out of 93 runners).

Congratulations to all runners and Coach Parsons on a great season!

IHS Students Celebrate National Manufacturing Day

Inman High School students in Mr. Sprunger's woodworking and carpentry classes celebrated National Manufacturing Day on Fri., Oct. 6th by visiting Central Plastics, Inc. and Viega LLC.

According to the national Manufacturing Day website, Manufacturing Day is a national event that encourages manufacturers to address misconceptions and myths regarding their business by opening their doors to the public and allows companies to share information about themselves with potential employees.


IHS Alumnus Blake Beye Shares About His Pathway To Becoming A Sales Consultant

Blake Beye Inman High School Graduate returns to speak to students about his educational pathway to becoming a sales consultant.
We are excited to have Blake Beye, a 2009 Inman High School Graduate return to visit with the student body about his school pathway and what lead him to becoming a sales consultant. Blake will be speaking with the student body during their home room time in the auditorium October 17, 2017.

Enns Named to All-National Honor Band

Inman Jr/Sr High School’s Nathan Enns has been selected for the National Association for Music Education’s (NAfME) 2017 All-National Honor Band.

Enns is one of 155 talented music students from across the United States and overseas military base schools selected for this honor.

Members of the 2017 All-National Honor Band will travel to Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, to join the 2017 All-National Honor Band in November.

Enns was selected through a competitive audition process. Eligible students qualified for their state-level honor ensemble program and competed against top students for a spot in this national honor band.

The Inman High School senior is the child of Gordon and Shannon Enns of Inman. He will perform in the All-National Honor Band on trumpet and will be conducted by Dr. T. André Feagin, director of bands and assistant professor of music, Coastal Carolina University.

Enns is the third student from Inman’s Jr/ Sr High School music program to be named as an All-National Honor Ensembles performer since 2014. Caleb Renner represented Inman in the 2015 All-National Honor Band, and Jacob Doerksen represented Inman in the 2014 and 2015 All-National Honor Mixed Choirs.
