🧡 Today, something special brightened the halls of our school. Our kindergarteners took time to create colorful, fun, and encouraging pictures for their 6th grade buddies, carefully hanging them on lockers as a surprise before state assessments begin. From roaring tigers to cheerful messages like “Do Your Best, Forget The Rest!” and “Go Get ’em, Tiger!”, these small acts of kindness carried a big impact. 🧡
For our 6th graders, testing week can feel overwhelming, but seeing those thoughtful drawings each morning serves as a reminder that they are supported, capable, and not alone. For our youngest students, it was also a meaningful opportunity to learn the power of kindness and connection. 🧡
Moments like this show how important it is to encourage one another—no matter our age. A simple word, a drawing, or a kind gesture can boost confidence, ease stress, and remind someone that they matter. We are excited to announce that our Pop Tab Contest at IES starts TODAY, March 25, and runs through May 1!
Students are encouraged to bring in pop tabs from cans, which will be collected and donated to support Ronald McDonald House Charities. This is a fun and meaningful way for our school community to come together and make a difference for families in need.
All classrooms will be competing, and the class that collects the highest total weight of pop tabs will win a pizza party! 🍕
Start saving and sending in those pop tabs today—every little bit adds up! Thank you for your support and enthusiasm as we work together for a great cause!

These special gatherings bring our IES Family together to make meaningful memories and foster positive relationships that last for years to come. We love seeing our students grow — not just academically, but together as one supportive, caring Teuton family! 🧡🖤
